NineCharacters

screen
          shot of application

Some friends doing CW sending practice wanted to generate random letters rather than just reading text from a document.

NineCharacters2 does just that.

The time interval between showing characters can be fixed or it can vary depending on the relative time a character takes to send, so an 'e' (dit) will be shown for a shorter time than O (dah dah dah).

You can choose which characters to include and also highlight "iambic" characters for dual paddle senders.

An early release can be downloaded from here. The downloaded zip should be unpacked into a folder of your choice. The NineQSO.exe and all the .txt files should reside in the  same folder!  Later version may have an installer. :-)

There is a very basic version of this application as a web page here

If you are learning CW you may find NineQSO useful

This also works under mono or wine in linux.
Ultimately source will be available once its tidier!
